    La traduction audiovisuelle cas du sous-titrage d’une émission de jeux télévisé du français vers Tamazight

    La traduction audiovisuelle contient plusieurs types de programmes audiovisuels, tel que les films, les documentaires, des jeux télévisés, dessins animés, etc. La traduction de textes destinés au large public et toute forme de transfert linguistique visant à donner accès aux médias à un public contient un handicap visuel ou auditif. Elle consiste à traduire le contenu quel qu’il soit, destiné notamment à la promotion, à la formation, aux jeux vidéo. Pour effectuer ce travail, le traducteur audiovisuel doit avoir une connaissance linguistique et culturelle, avoir recours à la théorie de traduction, et répondre de mieux aux exigences spécifiques de ce domaine notamment la relation entre sons, images et paroles. Le sous-titrage de l’émission en Tamazight (Kabyle) consiste à traduire les dialogues ainsi que le contenu de l’émission afin de la rendre accessible au public qui suit le jeu et de préserver la diversité culturelle. Les sous-titres sont généralement synchronisés avec les paroles des personnes à l’écran, ce qui nécessite une coordination précise.

    Défis de la traduction par équivalence des termes Juridiques : du Français vers Tamazight de la loi de la chasse n° 04-07 du 14 août 2004

    Notre étude examines l’impacte de l’équivalence dans la traduction des termes juridiques de la loi de la chasse du français vers le tamazight, nous utilisons le procédé de l’équivalence foctionnel ou dynamique, ainsi l’équivalence formelle. Notre problématique principale est de détérminer le défit de l’équivalence sans perdre la précision juridique ou la clarté du texte traduit. Une recherche documentaire approfondie est une analyse comparative des termes juridiques qui ont été menées en appliquant la méthodes de GEMAR John Claude, NIDA, et DURIEUX Christine. Les résultats montrent que l’équivalence fonctionnelle ou dynamique, rend le texte juridique plus accissible, tandis que l’équivalence formelle maintient la précision juridique, bien qu’elle puisse réduire la clarté pour les non-spécialistes. Les termes complexes peuvent être efficacement traduits en suivant la méthode de DURIEUX avec ses paraphrases adaptées. En conclusion, l’équilibre entre léquivalence dynamique et formelle est cruciale pour une traduction juridique efficace, et les méthodes des trois théoriciens se révèlent complémentaires pour atteindre cet objectif.

    La traduction dans le domaine médical : le cas des notices médicales du français vers tamazight.

    Notre étude, intitulée "La traduction dans le domaine médical : le cas des notices médicales du français vers le tamazight", a impliqué la traduction de 10 notices médicales du français vers le tamazight. Notre objectif principal était de résoudre les problèmes terminologiques du domaine médical rencontrés lors de la traduction de la langue française vers le tamazight. Pour ce faire, nous avons utilisé l'approche analytique de Maurice Rouleau afin de préserver le sens original en tamazight. De plus, nous avons appliqué les procédés de traduction de Vinay et Darbelnet pour traduire et analyser nos textes, permettant ainsi le transfert du sens de la terminologie médicale du français vers le tamazight. Après recherche, traduction et analyse, nous sommes parvenues aux résultats suivants La présence incertaine de termes équivalents dans ce domaine, notamment en langue Tamazight, pose des défis en matière d'aménagement linguistique, avec peu de références disponibles. Dans ce contexte, l'efficacité de la méthodologie de Maurice Rouleau pour traduire les preuves et les textes médicaux est notable. De plus, les méthodes de traduction de Vinay et Darbelnet offrent un avantage significatif dans le transfert des termes médicaux du français vers le tamazight. Ainsi, aucune de ces approches ne peut être négligée, car elles agissent comme des compléments indispensables, garantissant une traduction précise et robuste.

    Challenges of Medical translation from English to Arabic: Case of Study chapter II of Ophthobook to Dr Timophy Root

    The translation of terms related to the medical field especially to ophthalmology is considered one of the branches of scientific translation, and it is characterized by being one of the most difficult types of translation at all because of its connection to eye anatomy and characteristics. The objective of this research is to illuminate the challenges inherent in translating ophthalmology -related terms from English to Arabic. The translator often faces difficulties arising from a lack of cultural understanding or the requisite knowledge to wield these terms accurately. To validate this hypothesis, we conducted a translation exercise using a segment from the book "Ophthobook" This endeavor aims to highlight these terms employing appropriate methodologies, incorporating translation techniques outlined by Vinay and Darbelnet, and subjecting them to thorough analysis and comparison within the context of the Arabic language. Upon delving into this investigation, it became evident that numerous strategies can be employed to unravel medical terminology, with a focus on adopting effective translation strategies to streamline the overall translation process.

    The impact of cultural localization on translation : subtitling extracts of the movie ‘the breakfast club’ As a reformular

    This dissertation examines the impact of cultural localization on subtitling, using the classic American film "The Breakfast Club" as a case study. Through an analysis of the film's dialogue and cultural references, we explore how subtitlers balance fidelity to the original content with the need to make it accessible and relatable to global audiences. Guided by theoretical insights from scholars such as Chaume, Cronin, and Díaz-Cintas, this study delves into the technical and professional challenges of subtitling. Our findings highlight the critical role of audiovisual translation in bridging linguistic and cultural divides, ensuring a seamless viewing experience for diverse audiences worldwide.

    Subtitles and Ecoterms in Youtube Auto generated Translation of Obama’s Speech on Climate Change, Georgetown University on June 25th, 2013

    The aim of this research is to analyze terminological difficulties in subtitling a political speech with an ecological context between English and Arabic languages. It seeks to highlight strategies and techniques that translators can employ to overcome these challenges and achieve accurate subtitling, compared to what is proposed on Youtube through automatic subtitle generation. The corpus of this study is the speech of the forty-fourth President of the United States, Barack Obama on climate change, including its subtitling into Arabic.

    أنموذجا Practical Guide for allergy and immunology in Canada استراتيجيات ترجمة مصطلح طب الحساسية من الإنجليزية إلى العربية

    This study proposes to translate the medical article entitled " drug allergy from the practical guide of allergy and immunology in Canada", asthma and clinical immunology review, from English into Arabic language. The present work aims to clarify the concepts and terminology of drug allergy by showing the techniques that helps the translator to produce efficient translation. At the beginning of this research, we asked the following problematic: what are the appropriate translation strategies and methods for translating drug allergy medicine terms? What are the most common problems that translators face while translating medical terms? Therefore, our translation of the article “drug allergy “includes the ability of the Arabic language to express terms and concepts related to medicine in general and drug allergy in particular. In this regard our study is built on the analytical and critical method by critiquing a number of terms within our corpus based on the theory of sense by seleskovitch & lederer, Stylistic comparison by Vinay & Darbenlet and the Documentary Research of Christine Durieux. After applying these theories, we achieved results that confirm the effectiveness of their adoption in this type of medical translation.

    أنموذجا Chapter of human resources management in hospitality industry استراتيجيات ترجمة مصطلحات الفندقة من الانجليزية الى العربية من خلال

    This study aims to translate the first theme titled "Human Resources Management" from the book “Hospitality Management – A practical introduction” from English into Arabic. The primary objective is to clarify the concepts and terminology related to the hospitality industry by demonstrating the techniques that help translators produce efficient translations. At the outset of this research, we posed the following questions: What are the appropriate translation strategies and methods for translating hospitality industry terms? What are the most common challenges translators encounter when dealing with hospitality terminology? Our translation of the article " Human Resources Management in Hospitality Industry" highlights the ability of the Arabic language to express terms and concepts related to the hospitality industry effectively. This study employs an analytical and critical approach by examining several terms within our corpus, guided by the theory of sense by Seleskovitch & Lederer, stylistic comparison by Vinay & Darbelnet, and the documentary research methodology of Christine Durieux. Upon applying these theories, we obtained results that confirm the effectiveness of these methodologies in hospitality translation

    This study aims to bridge the linguistic and cultural gap by translating a selection of English idiomatic expressions, from the American famous film Friends into Arabic. So we carried out a study on fifteen idiomatic expressions, that is why we formulated this problematic question how can idiomatic expressions be translated from English to Arabic and what are the challenges that the translator faces during this process?, In order to respond to this question and the other ones, we have divided our work into two chapters. we have carried out by translating the fifteen idiomatic expressions by using Formal and Dynamic equivalent of Nida, it is the preferred strategy for preserving cultural context and meaning, and emerged as the most effective approach. To accurately convey the intended meaning and emotional Impact of English idiomatic expressions in the target language, the translator must possess a deep understanding of both the source and target cultures.

    في كتب الطبخ ثنائية اللغة التي تتناول الطبخ الجزائري وتقدم الترجمة من العربية إلى الفرنسية، يتم ترجمة المصطلحات المتعلقة بالطهي والمكونات بعناية لضمان فهم دقيق وشامل للوصفات فيما يلي ملخص حول ترجمة بعض المصطلحات أهداف نقل المصطلحات المتعلقة بالطبخ من اللغة العربية إلى اللغة الفرنسية في كتب الطبخ القبائلي تشمل ­ السعي إلى الحفاظ على أصالة المصطلحات القبائلية وترجمتها بشكل يعكس الطابع الثقافي والتقاليد الفريدة للطهي القبائلي ­ تكييف المصطلحات مع الفهم الثقافي والطهو القبائلي، وتجنب إشكاليات الترجمة التي قد تفقد الدلالة الثقافية ­ تحقيق وضوح في نقل المصطلحات بحيث يفهمها القراء الفرنسيون بسهولة ويتمكنوا من تطبيقها بشكل صحيح في المطبخ نتائج عملية نقل المصطلحات يجب أن تكون كتب الطبخ تحقق شعبية بين القراء الفرنسيين وتثير اهتمامهم للتعرف على تقاليد وأساليب الطهي القبائلي توفير تجربة طهي ممتعة ومثيرة للفرنسيين، وتشجيعهم على تجربة وتناول الأطعمة القبائلية تحقيق فهم ثقافي أعمق بين القراء حول الطهي القبائلي وتقديرهم للتنوع الثقافي والغذائي باعتبارها عملية معقدة، يتطلب نقل المصطلحات الطبخية من العربية إلى الفرنسية في كتب الطبخ القبائلي جهداً دقيقاً وتفاعلياً لتحقيق أهداف فعّالة ونتائج إيجابية

    Artificial Intelligence Contributions to Machine Translation, translation of extracts from the novel “the hearts of horses” by Molly Gloss through ChatGPT, Babylon, Reverso, Yandex and Google translate.

    The present research entitled “ The contributions of artificial intelligence to machine translation through the translation and analysis of extracts from “ The Hearts of Horses” written by Molly Gloss; aims at investigating the challenges, limits, and contributions of ChatGPT and other translation engines in translating a literal and cultural text. Our study is considered a comparative and analytical approaches, first we compare the translation of a same passage through different engines system, secondly we analyse the loss and gain by Bassnett and dizdar in the translation of these websites this will achieve through the analyses of different levels; morphological, lexical, and cultural. Throughout of our research, we conclude the following: Regarding accuracy and quality, we believe that the effectiveness of machine translation varies depending on the specific level being considered morphological, lexical, grammatical, or cultural. While machine translation systems, such as ChatGPT and others, can produce accurate translations at the morphological and grammatical levels, they often struggle with cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions

    The challenges of subtitling in the drama documentryfrom English into Arabic “TheSocial Dilemma’’by Jeff Orlowski as a case of study

    This study explored the use of subtitles in documentaries, focusing on the American docudrama "The Social Dilemma." We investigated how audiovisual translation, particularly subtitling, influences both individual and societal understanding of documentaries. By analyzing existing examples of Arabic captions in "The Social Dilemma," we aimed to understand the subtitling techniques employed and evaluate the translator's skill. Drawing on the work of Henrik Gottlieb, the analysis focused on specific examples with accompanying commentary to reveal the significant role of subtitling and its historical development. The study found the translator of the Arabic captions to be highly skilled, utilizing various techniques, primarily paraphrase and imitation. This interdisciplinary exploration provided valuable insights into how translation shapes the portrayal of documentaries for viewers with different linguistic backgrounds.

    Translation Errors in Commercial Advertising Banners and Signs Analytical study of a self-collected Arabic/English corpus in light of the linguistic approach to translation

    This research explores translation errors in commercial advertising banners and signs from Arabic into English. The problematic is how can we correct translation errors in bilingual advertisement banners and signs? The corpus consists on a categorized collection of images, including banner advertisements, shop signs and signs for services, sourced from diverse online platforms. The long-term effects of translation errors do not only affect linguistic accuracy but also business reputation, engendering legal risks and financial implications. Understanding the importance of linguistic approaches to translation, especially focusing on messages purpose and equivalence, becomes crucial when it comes to advertising for shops and services or informing population. Understanding how to convey meanings through language helps in obtaining accurate translations. To eradicate translation errors, practical solutions include involving trained translators in the production of bilingual advertisement banners as well in reviewing signs for shops or services. Only professional translators can combine machine and human translation, develop and update glossaries. Overall, awareness of errors‘ causes and impacts on children learning, people and translation itself is necessary to get rid of bilingualism errors in the society. The stake being to ensure effective communication between existing language-cultures in our society

    تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على الترجمة الأدبية، و التعابير الضمنية كونها كنها لغوياً، وبعدا ثقافياوإنشغالا ترجميا. و تسعى إلى إستبيان ماهيتها،أبرز أنواعها وأهم خصائصها، وكيف السبيل إلى ترجمتها، بإعتبار التعابير الضمنية منجزا لغويا يعكس ثقافة الجماعة اللسانية، والعرف اللغوي الذي تدرجت عليه في التداول بها معجما، أسلوبا و دلالة. إذ أن إدراك المعاني الكامنة لهذه التعابير يتم من خلال عمليات تأويلية. سيناقش هذا البحث إشكالية ترجمة التعابير الضمنية في الرواية من اللغة العربية إلى الإنجليزية، من منظور إستراتيجية التوطين و التغريب، التي تعد حجر الزاوية في نظرية لورنس فينوتي الترجمية. ستحاول الدراسة الإجابة على الكثير من الأسئلة أبرزها : ماهية التعابير الضمنية وأين تكمن صعوبة ترجمتها؟. إلى أي حد تساهم إستراتيجية التوطين و التغريب في ترجمة المحتويات الضمنية للرواية. و ذلك من خلال تحليل المدونة التي إعتمدناها. و ترجمة مقتطفات ضمنية وفقا لإستراتيجية الترجمة المتبناة
