dc.description.abstract | In the heart of every classroom, the synergy between the teacher and learner interaction and impactful feedback creates an environment where learning flourishes and students thrive. Thus, this current research is attempting to investigate EFL third year students' interaction in Face-to- face compared to Online classes with a particular emphasis on how the teachers' feedback influences the students’ engagement and involvement in the courses. The study has three main objectives. First, it aims to reveal which setting do the L3 EFL students prefer the most Face- to-face or Online one. Second, it seeks to identify where the students interact more. As a third objective, this study aims to investigate how the teacher’s feedback influences the interaction of the students in both the settings. To attain these objectives of the present study, a mixed methods approach is employed namely a questionnaire and a classroom observation. The questionnaire is distributed to 50 third year students. The findings revealed that students prefer Face-to-face setting, leading to an increased interaction and more effective learning process in that setting. Additionally, the teachers’ feedback in the Face-to-face environment enhances learner’s motivation. As a conclusion, this present research confirmed that students are more likely to stay motivated when they know their efforts are being closely monitored and appreciated by their instructors. This demonstrates the importance of the teachers’ feedback implementation within the classroom to make students feel secure to interact. | |
