Abstract
يعد جهاز الشرطة العلمية من الأجهزة الأمنية التي تسعى دوما لبلوغ الهدف المنشود في مكافحة شتى الجرائم، إذ تعتبر المهام التي تقوم بها هذه الأخيرة أساسية في فك خيوط الجرائم و تحديد هوية مرتكبيها، من خلال تعاملها الدقيق مع الأثار المادية المسترجعة من مسرح الجريمة بطريقة إحترافية من قبل تقنيين مسرح الجريمة، مع إجراء الخبرة عليها بإخضاعها لمختلف الفحوصات و التحاليل من قبل خبراء مخبر الشرطة العلمية، هذا بإعتمادها على جميع الوسائل و الأجهزة الحديثة المتوفرة لديها، الشيء الذي يساهم بشكل إيجابي في التحقيقات الجنائية، بالإضافة إلى تسهيل مهمة القاضي الجزائي في النطق بالأحكام سواء بإدانة المشتبه فيهم او تبرئتهم.
